Hi, I’m Crystal. I am the heart behind From One Moment to Another Photography. I am a wife, a mom of two, and a storyteller based here in Westland, serving families and couples across Michigan. If you are looking for someone who simply "takes pictures," that isn't my vibe. I believe that photographs are the only thing we truly get to keep when time decides to move on.
The "Why" Behind the Lens
My journey with a camera didn't begin in a classroom; it began in the quiet, fragile intensity of the NICU. My oldest daughter arrived early so tiny, so fierce at just 24 weeks, weighing only 2 lbs 3 oz. Those first few months were a blur of beeping monitors and moments where we collectively held our breath. I started documenting everything: the fragile strength of her tiny hands, the visitors, and the small, hard-won victories. When she was readmitted with RSV just six days after coming home, my camera became my lifeline. It was my way of proof-keeping her existence, her resilience, and our love. Today, that "tiny" fighter is 21 and standing taller than me. I never put the camera down because I know, better than anyone, how quickly now becomes then.

When I’m not chasing the golden hour or pouring my soul into your galleries, you can find me: Fueling up: Almost always with a Biggby Coffee in hand. Dreaming: Likely re-watching Bridgerton for the 10th time, because a little bit of romance makes the world better. Moving: My life is soundtracked by a mix of smooth R&B and upbeat Bachata. I’m not above dancing behind the camera if the music moves us let’s keep the energy alive!
